Mt. Fuji Hakone, Kyoto, Nara
Enjoy a breathtaking view from Mt. Fuji and visit the historical mountain resort area of Hakone.
Visit Todaiji Temple housing a great image of Buddha, colourful Kasuga Taisha Shrine with 3,000 lanterns, and Nara Deer Park where many tame deer are freely roaming.
Explore Kyoto’s 1,200 years of history with a visit to the Tokugawa shoguns’ residence, Nijo Castle, the Golden Pavilion and its exquisite garden. Visit Kyoto Imperial Palace and watch Japanese artisans at work at the Kyoto Handicraft Center.
Walk through Sanjusangendo Temple, Japan’s longest wooden structure, and browse the specialty shops on the walk up to Kiyomizudera Temple, where you can enjoy a sweeping view of the city. Admire Heian Jingu Shrine, a partial replica of the Imperial Palace.

Travel by deluxe coach halfway up Japan's highest mountain, Mt Fuji, to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 metres. Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch. In the afternoon, proceed to Hakone Ropeway, visit Owakudani Valley and then a ride on a pirate ship on Lake Ashi. |

Morning drive to Odawara for a Shinkansen train to Kyoto.

Lunch at New Miyako Hotel.
After lunch visit Nara and the Todaiji Temple with the Great Buddha. Feed the tame deer in Nara Park and marvel at the lanterns at Kasuga Shrine, Nara Nagomikan before returning to Kyoto. |

Morning sightseeing of Kyoto, visiting Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Nijo Castle noted for its gorgeous interiors, and Kyoto Imperial Palace (on Sat, Sun & national holidays as the Imperial Palace is closed, visit Nishi Honganji Temple instead). Lunch at Kyoto Handicraft Centre. After lunch, continue sightseeing of the city visiting Sanjusangendo Temple with its 1,001 impressive images of Buddha, vermilion-hued Heian Jingu Shrine and Kiyomizudera Temple with its wooden veranda.

Transfer to Kyoto Station and board the Shinkansen to Tokyo, departing between 6.00 and 7.00pm.
Arrive in Tokyo between 9.00 and 10.00pm.
Accommodation for Tokyo is not included in the tour, however transfers are provided to major hotels. |

English-speaking guide or assistant is included except onboard Shinkansen from Odawara Sta. on Day 1 and to the Tokyo Sta. on Day 4 (except Day 4 of "One Way Course").

One Way Trip Course
Your baggage will be transported by land from Tokyo to Kyoto with allowance of one piece per person. For overnight stay in Hakone, we recommend you to carry a light overnight bag with you. For extra baggage, JPY2,200 will be charged per piece.
Round Trip Course
Your baggage will be transported by land from Tokyo to Kyoto on Day 1 and Kyoto to Tokyo on Day 4 with allowance of one piece per person. For the overnight stay in Hakone, we recommend you to carry a light overnight bag with you. For extra baggage, JPY2,200 will be charged per piece. The baggage transportation service from Kyoto to Tokyo is only for the guests staying at the hotels on the list of pick up service.
