Sunrise Express Kyoto & Nara 3 days Package

Travel by Shinkansen to Kyoto in the morning. After lunch experience the rich history and culture of Nara. Visit Todaiji Temple, the world’s largest wooden structure and home of the Great Buddha. Mingle with the deer at
Nara Park and marvel at the many lanterns at Kasuga Taisha Shrine.
Return to Kyoto for your first night.
The next day is a full day of Kyoto sightseeing. See the Tokugawa era shogun’s resident, Nijo Castle, admire the gold-leaf covered Golden Pavilion, and stroll through the exquisite gardens surrounding it. Walk through Kyoto Imperial Palace and watch traditional artisans work their craft at the Kyoto Handicraft Center. After lunch visit Heian Shrine, Sanjusangendo and Kiyomizu Temple.
Day 3 is free until your departure by Shinkansen to Tokyo.

Itinerary

*Departure from Tokyo

Day 1: Tokyo - Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto

Kyoto

	Pick up service at major hotels. Morning transfer to Tokyo Station between. Board a Shinkansen train for the classical city of Kyoto. Enjoy a splendid view of imposing Mt.Fuji en route (weather permitting). Lunch at New Miyako Hotel.
	After lunch visit Nara and the Todaiji Temple with the Great Buddha. Feed the tame deer in Nara Park and marvel at the lanterns at Kasuga Shrine, Nara Nagomikan before returning to Kyoto. Return to Kyoto for your first nights accommodation.

Day 2: Kyoto

Kyoto

	Morning sightseeing of Kyoto, visiting Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Nijo Castle noted for its gorgeous interiors, and Kyoto Imperial Palace.
	After lunch at Kyoto Handicraft Center, enjoy afternoon sightseeing of the city, visiting Sanjusangendo Temple with its 1,001 impressive images of Buddha, vermilion-hued Heian Jingu Shrine and Kiyomizudera Temple with its wooden veranda.

Day 3: Kyoto - Tokyo

	Free at leisure until departure.
	In the evening (between 6 and 7pm) board a Shinkansen train back to Tokyo, arriving between 9 and 10pm. Transfer to major hotels in Tokyo.

English-speaking guide or assistant service is included except during onboard Shinkansen.
* Baggage
Baggage carriage is not included. Please carry your baggage on your own. However, trains do not have areas for storing large pieces of baggage. We recommend leaving large pieces of baggage at your hotel in Tokyo while you travel by train.

* For Day 2
** At the "Nijo Castle", on every Tuesday in Jan., Jul., Aug. & Dec., "Nijo Castle" is closed and you will visit "Ryoanji Temple" instead.
** At the Kyoto Imperial Palace, on every Saturday, Sunday, national holidays and some other days, Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed and you will visit "Nishi Honganji" instead.
** To enter the Kyoto Imperial Palace, you are required to fill out the form (your name, sex, age, nationality).
* This tour is offered for travellers from overseas only.
* Please inform us if you would like to include any tour on Day 3.
* Drop-off service can be provided to Sunrise Tour Pick Up hotels only.
* Upon booking please inform us of your pre and post tour accommodation.
