The Kanjo loop line around Osaka and the Midosuji underground line are the most convenient way to cover most of the key spots in Osaka. From Osaka you can easily take a day trip to other popular tourist destinations. For Kyoto it takes 30–40 minutes on the JR, Hankyu or Keihan line. For Kobe it takes 20–30 minutes on the JR, Hankyu or Hanshin line. For Nara it takes 30–40 minutes on the JR or Kintetsu line.
